As regards to "doc" wines,
the trademark is reserved to the Galluccio, proposed in two different types:
white ( 70 per cent at least of Falanghina , and for the remaining 30 per cent
from typical varieties of the zone), red (70 per cent at least of Aglianico and for the
remaining 30 per cent from typical varieties of the zone).
Rich and variegated is the production
of the geographical typical indication (igt) wines .
A place of honour is certainly reserved to the Falanghina: a
white wine produced from one hundred per cent
of "falanghina" grapes.
Straw yellow colour, with greenish reflexes,
and intense fragrance,
fruity and from the dry taste,
but, at the same time, delicate, goes well together with fish
dishes, shellfishes
and seafood appetizers (excellent also as aperitif). |
